Dear Citizen of Lake County,
Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving you as your Lake County Commissioner,
District 1. The opportunity has given me the privilege of meeting the citizens in Lake County,
listening to your concerns and responding effectively.
I know the decisions made today have consequences for our children and grandchildren
tomorrow. The role of local government is not to protect government – but, to ensure the
safety
and well being of the residents in our community. We are elected to serve you, the people.
I have a responsibility to you and am committed to safeguarding your hard earned dollars.
I am always looking for ways to be more cost effective and to enhance the delivery
of services
that improve the quality of your life.
The recent budget cuts combined with the likely consequences from the constitutional
amendment make it important that Lake County comply with the will of the voters.
These are decisions that have to be made at the local level in a timely manner. The wisdom of my experience and my dedication to hard work, knowing the unique needs of the community, cannot succeed without sound judgment and execution.
