It has been an honor and I am most grateful to have had the opportunity to serve on
your county commission for the past eight years. When I first ran for office, I committed
to you that I would always do what I felt in my heart to be in the best interest of all Lake Countians and to do so in a fiscally conservative manner. Quite frankly, although I was certain that there would be a great deal to learn about county government, there was
no way to fully understand what the job would entail. Like so many other things in life, you really can’t know until you actually experience it. Since that time, I have worked
full-time studying the issues and learning the details of county government in order to make sound decisions and serve you effectively. Now, I am proud to say that I have
lived up to that commitment.
